What makes us different?

With attention to our core values of Integrity, care, and focus. The past years SRC has given away thousands to families in need, through our giving projects. Our team here at SRC revolves around “Care”, from sweeping the sidewalks to helping carry the groceries. This is why our word of mouth and referral business is extremely high compared to others in our niche. We get so much referral business in fact, that our marketing costs for the current year are 50% of our “competitors” who many times, are more like partners.

Community

Working at SRC is a blast. We have extraordinary events twice a year. This event invites the community and employees for a live outdoor evening. All profits from the event go towards our giving projects. Not to mention, the countless events you have likely seen our team attending in and around the region.

As a team

Our 10+ employees love to grind and compete. For this reason we participate in golf, volleyball, parades and other community held events for enjoyment and unity. Our C-suite often attends regional and nationwide events to further the whole team’s education and spark ideas for our future.

Our training

Our onboarding is second to none in the industry. We rarely have to advertise for job openings as our staff can’t stop talking about loving our roles. Our team has all worked together on “side projects” outside our normal roles at times. These projects helped us create systems for better hiring practices, tests for the candidates and culture check ins. Before our new team member gets their first paycheck they know 90% of their hired role. We like to say “If you can’t be proficient in your role in 3 weeks you may not belong”.

Our caring staff

Back to our caring staff, that includes our 4 main divisions, sales, project managers, administration, laborers and everything in between. Not to mention our incredible “contractors” for legal, insurance, accounting, banking and materials, who help take our delegated tasks off our plate. We all work together on systems, processes and procedures. For example, our “trainers” (who have all experienced the new hire’s role) never snarl when a question is asked, we actually highly encourage it. A statement we live by is “If I can’t teach it I don’t understand it”. Just as proudly, our sales team is the backbone of all our giving and community events. These caring individuals are our frontline offense in showing the community what we are all about. It isn’t unusual to see a team member in a SRC polo helping grandma cross the street. This is also the reason we leave more than enough time between appointments to fit in our acts of service.

How we Care

If you have stopped in our office you may have noticed our cork board where if a teammate sees another complete a caring act, it is written on a post-it note and pasted on the board. Even customers often stop in to post on the board when they see a team member’s act of service. Our team loves the friendly competition for the bonus and bragging rights at the end of each month being crowned the most caring.

Marketing/Media

Again SRC is no stranger to the community. We often receive requests for articles on our team’s atmosphere and our community events that are featured on local channels. Another fun way we have kept our marketing cost down, goes into the small things. For example, all employees are given special referral flyers (Check yours to see the exclusive code!) with a special code to hand out to people in need or not in need of a roof. At the end of each quarter the number of quoted jobs from each employee chooses their company provided paid vacation (or bonus) that year. With the top prize over the full year being an international vacation or bonus of equal value.

Our customers and future customers love to see what we do and how we operate. So much so that we have great social engagement with fun games, treasure hunts and so much more stemming from our page. Our customers love to comment and chat with each other about their experiences. Our testimonials often come with a short story on how our crews cleaned up, leaving the site even better than when we arrived. The neighbors are all shocked at how well our crews work together efficiently without fault and show up on time, everytime.

Our team

“Mechanics” or “Fire fighters” are addressed as such because they do an incredible job of keeping order in the back end. Each of our office staff continues to build and rethink our standard operating procedures and manuals to be more efficient as well as gain time back in their day. In our walls there are no dumb ideas or questions left to be unexpressed. Any distain is quickly remediated with a short meeting between friends to find a solution. Interestingly enough we are not the meetings type, our “meetings” might seem informal if you walked in, but don’t be fooled as we stick to a tight framework improved on and built by our team. Our discussions with the sales team in the room have a different high energy vibe that keeps every team member excited.
